ADE Launched Training Center to Boost Talent Development

Asia-Pacific’s MRO industry faces growing workforce shortages amid expanding aircraft fleets and rising maintenance demand. Asia Digital Engineering (ADE) plans to recruit several hundred maintenance personnel to support its regional expansion. CEO Mahesh Kumar emphasises talent mobility, regional collaboration and workforce development as key priorities in addressing industry challenges, including skills shortages, regulatory barriers and increasing competition for talent.

To strengthen its talent pipeline, ADE established its Maintenance Training Organisation (MTO) in May 2026. Located in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia, the state-of-the-art facility supports aviation maintenance excellence through:

Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) programmes
Technical training for aircraft technicians and apprentices
Maintenance engineering certification and upskilling

The initiative reinforces ADE’s commitment to developing a skilled, future-ready aviation workforce.
